CHC30213 Certificate III in Education Support

Thiss nationally recognised qualification is offered to up-skill or re-skill employees working as early childhood education and care workers.

It gives the opportunity for growth in confidence and competence while working in an education setting.

The qualification is offered to a wide range of workers including:

  • Education assistants
  • Teacher aides/assistants/support workers including special needs and/or disability workers
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander education workers
  • Language and/or literacy workers
  • Home tutors

If you are not currently employed in an education environment you will be required to volunteer for a minimum of two days equivalent a week for the duration of the course.

This course is delivered during the school term, on Thursdays from 8:30am – 2:30pm in our training room.


Adult Learners

Administration fee – $250
Face-to-face course fee – $4,500 with 4 quarterly payments over the delivery of the course.

The course fee may be reduced depending on previously completed courses.

VETDSS (VET Delivered to Secondary Students)

School students wanting to enrol in this course should contact their school VET/Careers Coordinator to express interest. Students will need to participate in an application process that generally involves an interview. Applications open in Semester 2 for the following year. The course then commences in Term 1.

The 12 core units and a minimum 5 electives must be completed in order to finish the course.
